To counter act this I recommend knocking out the taller enemy and then when the smaller one tries to hit you simply hold Rb+LB together and hold Y and you should pick him up, once you do run over to the edge and if your close enough your momentum should be enough to throw them off the edge. I found this method easiest because you don’t have any real danger besides the AI picking you up. Start up a local game (1 player) of waves and choose the stage “Roof”. Hello this is my first solution but after reading other solutions with limited success I feel like I’ve got the best or in my case easiest method to doing this.
